 HOW TO APPLY FOR DIN(Director Identificetion No.)
Step:-1:-Documents required from client. Ask the Following Documents from your Client
1.       One latest colour photograph of the applicant.
2.       One copy of pan card duly signed by the applicant (for identity proof).
3.       One copy of voter id card or driving license or phone bill or passport etc. duly signed by the applicant (for address proof)
4.       Verification Copy duly signed by the applicant. (you can search such verification application format for din-1 in Google & then fill such verification form accordingly)
NOTE:- There is no compulsion that pan card copy & voter id card must be signed by the applicant. But, Yes verification form must be signed by the applicant.
Step:-2 :-Work to be done by CA or any other notarized person
1.       Attest voter id card etc. & pan card copy (Do not attest Verification Form) ( Write “Compiled from Original” , then affix Stamp & Sign of the CA).
2.       Scan Photograph, attested copy of Pan card, attested copy of ID Proof & Verification Form (In Separate File, However voter id card passport etc front & Back should be scanned in a same file. For Scanning in a same file Just Click on Add Pages in )  
3.       Photo must be scanned as a .jpg file, While other 3 document should be scanned as .pdf file
4.       Please keep notice the Size of all documents.
Step-3:  Internet related task (Now You need a internet connection)
1.       Open Internet explorer
2.       Goto the website
3.       Search Din-1 form
4.       Then Download Din-1 (without instruction) form from mca website
5.       Extract din-1 form on Desktop
6.       Now Copy Such form & keep it to any other location as well so that  you need not to download din-1 form again & again
7.       Now Fill Din-1 Form
8.       Select Photo of the applicant
9.       Fill all other information’s
10.   Address must exactly match from address proof of the applicant
11.   Click on verify income tax pan details
12.   At certification point click in all boxes
13.   In attachment, attach related documents
14.   Select category to be signed by………..
15.   Enter membership no.
16.   Click on check form Tab, & if there is any error then correct such error
17.   Now click on  to be digitally signed box & sign the form digitally
18.   That’s it Guys, Click on prescrutiny tab & save the form.
Step:-4 :-     Apply for Din & Upload Din Form
1.       Goto the website
2.       Enter login id & Password (A user need to get register himself & it’s as simple as making your email id on any website.)
3.       Select Registered user
4.       After opening a window Click on Upload e form Tab
5.       Then select file din form
6.       Upload your form (You can Simply Drag & Drop Your Din Form)
7.       One thing that you must be careful about is that you must have java in your system & adobe reader of 8 or 9 version. Sometimes Latest Adobe X, does not work.
8.       After Submitting Your Form, it will ask you to either generate challan or pay through Credit Card or Net Banking etc.
9.       If you have online payment resource then pay the challan & it will generate the Challan of RS.100/- alongwith DIN on it at the bottom Side
